CEC workshops will teach you how to achieve quality results by expanding your knowledge and understanding of enameling fundamentals. Learn new procedures, techniques and materials to create a wide variety of enamel art. Multi-day workshops offer an opportunity for a deep dive into multiple procedures and materials. Our 3-hour workshops are more narrowly focused on a specific technique. Written handouts will be provided documenting everything covered in the workshop. After registration you will receive a confirmation email/letter with details of the workshop. All tools and equipment will be provided unless your workshop confirmation letter states otherwise.

Students will learn how to transfer the pattern to copper foil, use tools to repoussé (push out) the metal to form a 3D shape, then fuse powdered glass to the metal to create a colorful art piece. Terms and Conditions Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY:
As we re-start our workshop program, our registration numbers for each workshop may be close to our minimum number (the number we must have in order to not lose money on holding the workshop). If we have one or two people cancel close to the time of the workshop date, it makes it very difficult and complicated to go forward. For this reason, no monetary refunds will be made unless the Carpenter Enamel Center cancels the workshop. In this event, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations are to be made by contacting the instructor (you will receive the instructor contact information after registration).
STUDENT CANCELLATION:
FOR MULTI-DAY WORKSHOPS: If you cancel (7) days or more before the workshop start date, a $200 cancellation fee will be deducted from the full amount you’ve paid. The balance of what you’ve paid will be transferred as a credit to a future workshop date of your choosing. If you choose a workshop with a cost that exceeds your balance, you will be responsible for the difference. If you cancel within 6 days of the workshop or fail to attend, there will be no refund or credit.
FOR 3-HOUR WORKSHOPS: If you cancel (3) days or more before the workshop start date, a $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from the full amount you’ve paid. The balance of what you’ve paid will be transferred as a credit to a future workshop date of your choosing. If you choose a workshop with a cost that exceeds your balance, you will be responsible for the difference. If you cancel within 2 days of the workshop or fail to attend, there will be no refund or credit.
INSUFFICIENT REGISTRATION:
Due to workshop overhead expenses, a minimum of 5 students must be registered in order to hold the class. If that number is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled. You will receive notification 7 days (or earlier if you need to know) before the start date of that workshop. You will receive a full refund, or if you prefer, a transfer of full payment to another workshop date of equal value.
The Carpenter Enamel Center cannot be held responsible for any lost hotel or air fare costs due to workshop cancellation.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
If you are unable to attend any workshop due to inclement weather and the CEC holds the workshop, you will receive a transfer only of full payment to another workshop date (of equal value to the workshop you are not able to attend). No monetary refunds will be made for inclement weather cancellations.
If the CEC cancels the workshop due to inclement weather, you will receive a full monetary refund.
The Carpenter Enamel Center cannot be held responsible for any lost hotel or air fare costs due to workshop cancellation.
LIABILITY:
Student agrees not to hold Carpenter Enamel Center, its staff and board of directors, and instructor of workshop responsible for any accidental injuries or illnesses the student may contract during the workshop.
